The Bronx

Since 2022 the business Richard Joseph Spinelli cofounded has acquired and renovated houses and apartments around the Rose Hill campus of Fordham University, most of them in Belmont, and this cluster places that neighborhood inside its borough. The entries move from the Bronx as a whole to Community District 6 and Belmont itself, then to the park that holds the Botanical Garden and the Zoo, and finish with what city surveys count in the housing stock. Arthur Avenue became the borough's first entry on the American Planning Association list of Great Streets in 2016, Norwood News noted, and more than a third of all new homes finished in the city in 2023 were in the Bronx, per Commercial Observer.
